WORKSHOP LOST WAX
Lost Wax Jewelry Workshop in Florence
Spend a morning in Florence carving your own jewelry in wax
and have one piece cast in 925 silver.
What is lost wax? It is the traditional way to cast metal: you sculpt a piece in wax, then silver replaces the wax in a mould. It lets you make shapes that are hard to forge by hand.
In 2.5 hours you play with different waxes and techniques: shaping, texture, welding, folding, different thicknesses, wires and sheets. Make rings, earrings, pendants, or anything you like. Experience helps, but it is not necessary.
At the end you choose one piece (up to about 7 grams of metal) to be cast in 925 silver. You keep the other wax pieces. Your silver piece is sent to your address after 20-25 days.
Everything you need to make the jewelry. An extra cost
applies only for larger pieces.
Delivery is not included in the price. It is possible, the cost depends on where it goes, and we arrange it on the day.
